A Hot Friday Lunch

They said farewell dinner lunch at Spice Garden..all Sales and Marketing guys get ready for some fun!i did a little jig which largely resembled sentiments in tandem with 'Its the time to Disco'!!Finally we were going on a team lunch and all...so where was Spice Garden?Sounded exotic eh...landed there battling the harsh sun and the dusty roads.I was the last to arrive so i sheepishly walked into the room overlooking a swimming pool.I must at this point inform u that everyone in our team is 30+....and moi is 22..oh how well i gel with that 'oh so excting ' crowd! But there's this thing called optimism which rears its head at me once in a while and i feel like obliging. So i chirpily put on a big smile...and wondered what kind of conversation would take place between all the biggies of my company.
Waited for a bit , analysed the crowd and its general trend of topics...and settled on how cool milk sweets are!!jesus H christ...dont these people want to talk about something remotely more interesting???anyways so i decided it was a waste of my time, cause theVermi kept going on and on about how cool he thinks he is cause he is doing a research on the complicated opposite sex(womenin this case ,in case u thought Vermi was a girl). And the guy next to me insisted on talking about what kinds of sweets he likes. So i joined along feeling bloody foolish...and thinking, why couldnt i just drop dead.Or rather why couldnt those people all drop dead!!Packed myself into a car and arrived as quickly as i could into my little space in the office.Thank the lord, for my ugly cabin...never will i ever complain about its ugliness as long as it keeps away those BORING people away from me...arrrggggghhhhh!

Whenever somebody dumps a comment on my blog I normally run back and try and chuck a comment on theirs in an attempt to collect large amounts of good karma.

There is a lot to be said for milk sweets although whether one should actually go about saying it is debatable. You have my heartfelt sympathy :D.

nice post of your team lunch. I also had a team lunch once. That was great in foood....but toooooo booooring....

Another thing that creates problem is that being the youngest you cannot pull somebody's leg with the fear of him/her getting angry.

I said something to the HR madam, she was red with anger which she hid very cleverly...but after that she was never normal...:-)
