Halli Mane and then the accident

Sis and baby have gone back to Dubai and there seems to be such a lull at home these days thanks to the absence of Ashrita.Dammit , i was the apple of her eyes :)!!anyways so life moves on.Saturday was Ugadi (Kannada/Telugu New Year), and my dad put enthu for going to this rural restaurant called 'Halli Mane' which means Village Home in Kannada(I did overhear a man saying it should be renamed 'City Mane' and i was laughing my head out cause it sounded like a sleazy bar name!).I very half heartedly agreed as this place requires special down-dressing for me (this is a place where all the Jakkamaas and Ganguthais come for a meal).I guess i love the food too much over there to disagree, so i quickly donned a kurta and landed at the restuarant and gosh , it was so beautifully decorated with flowers and leaves and what not..but what a festive atmosphere!!The special meal was 70 bucks (and for that place , it raised quite a few eyebrows)...my dad, me and mom settled ourselves after downing a welcome drink of Ginger lemon juice.Spotted a few US/Brtish people who had probably come to find out what Kannada food tasted like i guess, felt rather proud at that moment that this small restuarant of Bangalore was really kicking ass on the international front :)The meal was awesome complete with all kinds of weird sour/sweet things and i actually enjoyed the meal (i normally hate Kannada food)...added to that the owner's son was major eye candy :)!
After an afternoon siesta , the gang made plans to meet up, so Ramu,me and Rosh met up at Forum to watch a movie/hang out/whatever.It was a rather long wait for ramu and me as rosh was busy adorning herself at her house and simultaneously lying that she was on her way and presumably making auto-like noises to make it convincing!we decided no movie was worth it, so we landed at Transit(the food place)where we gossiped , bitched etc that the three of us do best(we are quite a vile gang-the three of us).later on we landed at Geoffrey's which turned out to be great ambience and good alcohol(here we were joined by Kar, Din and Ash).after a rather sober session (the home parties are always kick ass)...ramu and i decided to leave as my parents would be worried, and had quite the bike skid over a median which should have affirmed its existence but sat silently waiting for an innocent biker to skid and die i guess.so as a result i am hobbling around the office today, the ramu is also quite bruised but he managed to walk to 8th cross so im thinking im the only distressed soul here.

This probably would knock the bajeezums out of u..I am an attorney currently working in Burlington, VT ...and happend to know that major eye candy at Halli Mane very well( am originally from bangalore, but went to law school here)...infact he forwarded your blog to me..i am beginning to wonder why :). He is a very dear friend of mine, is a software engineer by day and manages his family business by night or something like that..so as someone else on the blog said if you'd be interested in meeting the eye candy let me know..maybe the eye candy noticed u too

Halloween is coming up. My kids are very excited to go trick or treating. Right now the drug world is so crazy so I don't even know if I want to take my kids trick or treating. I heard that people put meth that looks like candy inside of little packages and give them out to kids. They look just like candy and kids don't know any better so they eat it and they could die.
